Donna Shelton was born July 9, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Joliet when she was three. Donna is the mother of two children, a herd of dogs, a colony of cats, a handful of turtles and two rats. She is addicted to buying books and learning new things.

Donna has been writing since she was 11 years old. Her first story is CRYSTAL THE CRYSTAL WING PEGASUS - never published - but she keeps the original handwritten story near her desk. It reminds her of when her passion started.

Donna has had several articles and some short stories published in magazines, newspapers and some e-zines over the years. Somewhere around 180 total. She's also written several columns in The Joliet Herald News - a news paper - about pet care.

Her interests outside of writing include: dancing, walking on a beach or in the woods, watching  favorite t.v. shows on DVD and of course having fun with her kids.

She also enjoys being an amateur paranormal investigator and enjoys the paranormal and anything spooky! She loves Halloween and her favorite seasons are Spring and Autumn. It's always a little rainy, beautiful leaves, not too hot and not too cold.
